So, with Dark Vengeance rulebooks and Codices (CSM and Traitor Legions) in hand, I'm dabbling on my first list, with a limit to 1000 points.

The thought behind this is that I want to put pressure on my opponent.
The Terminators will Deep Strike into the breach - most likely mid-field - when the Bikes and Raptor close the gap with the deployment zone of the other army, flatting out the rhino and bikes to take the brunt of the hits of the enemy, and the two Obliterators doing some oversight from the rear with their long-range weaponry before they also come in close range (I don't expect them to progress further than mid-field).
What I noticed though: There are no Formations or Detachments described in the Codex: Chaos space marines that I have. Do I need another book for that!?
What's your thought on this? Am I missing crucial units? Am I focusing too much on speed? Too many meltas? not enough power fists? Are Oblits a bit "meh"? Are the points incorrect?

Update: I was under the assumption that I'd had to have the specific Night Lords formations to make up the Muder Talon detachment and be entitled to the special rules. However, the first line after the intro says that any CSM detachment can be any of the nine Legions, and apply the Legion rules (so not the detachment rules!!) This means Raptors become Troops instead of Fast Attack, Veterans of the Long War at no cost where applicable, custom artefacts and Warlord Traits!! Whoop whoop!!
